What is NU-GEL™ Hydrogel and what is it used for?
NU-GEL™ Hydrogel is a hydroactive, amorphous and transparent gel.
It contains sodium alginate that gently and effectively loosens and removes both fibrinous deposits and necrotic tissue.
The hydrogel creates a moist wound healing environment.
This promotes natural autolytic debridement, while the alginate component supports the absorption capacity. Due to the hydrating nature of the gel, it can also be used to hydrate and soften scabs.
Ease of Application
NU-GEL™ Hydrogel is applied to the wound using a simple, one-handed technique. The bellows bottle allows easy application of the wound gel and minimizes product loss.
